History of the Department

          Every country is able to flourish through its commerce. Commercialisation is must for every commodity or a product. Earning profit is an important aim and how to earn is revealed in the commerce. Hence everybody is interested in choosing the commerce subject while they enter into the college.

          B.Com course was started in the year 1995-1996. In order to fulfil the need of Computer education to compete in the business world, the B.Com Course was converted into B.Com (E-Commerce) in the year 2007-2008 with two sections. Since there is no demand for B.Com (E-Commerce) course and students were more interested in joining B.Com course, the B.Com (E-Commerce) was converted into B.Com programme which is a conventional course having stable demand in the year 2017-2018.
