Placement Cell

Objectives:

To provide guidance to the students in career planning, resume preparation, Interview skills and communicative skills.
To help and guide the students to find employment suited to their abilities and skills.
To provide training to the students regarding Employability skills, Tips for group discussion and how to prepare for competitive examinations.

Highlights of the Placement Cell

The placement cell of our college is keen on exposing our students to job opportunities available through various Job Fairs conducted at our college by leading companies. Our aspiring students have been selected in various reputed companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tata consultancy services etc.

Train the final year UG students of Aided Courses and the Self Financing Courses during the placement training hour twice a week, on the following topics.

Provide guidance on Soft skills for the final year PG students.
Organize training and job fairs
Conduct aptitude tests to all the final year UG students at the end of each semester separately.
Arrange Expert lectures to hone employability skills.
Conduct Mock Interview to the students before attending Job fairs.

Training Programme

Under Graduate:

All the final year UG students are given training on aptitude weekly twice during the odd semester and even semester.
At the end of the semester, a common assessment test was conducted for the students of Aided and Self Financing courses from the topics taught to them in the semester. During the even semester, all the final year UG students are given training on aptitude weekly once.

Post Graduate:

As a part of placement Training, Soft skills training classes for final year PG students had been conducted once in a month to improve their inter personal skills and team building.
