  • Examine specific phenomena theoretically and/or experimentally, contribute to the generation of new scientific insights or to the innovation of new applications of research in Chemistry.
History of the Department
         Department of Chemistry (PG) is committed to holistic development of rural women compassing quality education, skill development, experiential understanding and above all, rooted in value-based learning, since 2010. A team of highly qualified and enthusiastic faculty members of our department possessed profuse knowledge and experience in academic and research. The well-Equipped classrooms, laboratory and library with the collection of more books are the outstanding features of our department to help the students to enrich and update their skills and knowledge. The department activities are exclusively designed to develop and recognize the research qualities and potential among students. As a part of our chemistry association activity, Guest lectures by Eminent Scientists, Faculties and Researchers from National level Institutions were arranged.

FUNCTIONS
  • The mission of the campus company “ChemTech” leads to provide customers with a quality home cleaning products. ChemTech provides an opportunity for the students to apply the theoretical knowledge and skills they have acquired in campus to real world situations. Every year, a team of students willing to run the campus company join together as student-investors The Market research, a foundational step to understand current trends and consumer preferences is to be carried out for choosing the list of items for production. Product development begins by designing unique and competing the items with identified market demands. Prototyping and testing are integral to ensure product quality and functionality.
  • Manufacturing processes begin only after the prototype test.
  • Cost-effective sourcing of materials and efficient production methods are vital to keeping prices competitive. The campus company encourages employing skilled of students who bring a creative touch to their products.
  • Marketing efforts focus on establishing a distinct brand identity and conveying the unique value of the outputs. The campus company attempts to cater to a broad demographic, offering both affordable and premium product lines to suit various budgets.
  • The student-investors-cum-employees work towards getting a trusted name for their quality, quantity and customer satisfaction in the house cleaning products.

HISTORY
         The Department of Chemistry (PG) launched a campus company “ChemTech – 2024” Giving quality house cleaning product. The campus company provides the opportunity for the aspiring student to become entrepreneurs. The campus company enhances the ideas of product development and marketing skill. Students are trained with the knowledge of preparing the washing and detergent items. This creative outlet cultivates entrepreneurial traits and allows students to explore their passion for self-employability skill. They learn to overcome challenges, adapt to changing circumstances, and believe in their abilities to achieve success in future. Through this journey, student entrepreneurs develop a strong sense of self-confidence and personal growth.
